Semi roll-over and fire north of Picture Butte

LETHBRIDGE, AB. — Picture Butte Emergency crews were called out to a semi roll-over and fire around 11:00-am, Monday (Dec 7) morning.

A semi unit wound up on it’s side just north-east of Picture Butte, at the junction of Highways 845 and 25.

The semi was carrying bales that caught on fire. The highway was re-opened to traffic around 3:30-pm.

There’s is no initial indication of injuries.
