Five men charged in connection with September assault

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Five Lethbridge men have been charged in connection with an aggravated assault in September, with arrest warrants out for three of the men.

24-year-old Nolan Shade and 30-year-old Lucas Lycar were apprehended by police, and later released.

Warrants are out for the arrest of 33-year-old Cory Amyotte, 26-year-old Jesse Davidson and 34-year-old Hunter Nolte.

Police were called to an early-morning disturbance at a trailer park in the 2700-block of Westside Drive W. on September 25, 2020. On arrival, officers found a 40-year-old man suffering from serious and life-threatening injuries.

The investigation found that the incident was targeted, and the victim and suspects were known to each other.

24-year-old Nolan Shade is charged with aggravated assault and disguised with intent. He was released from police custody and is set to appear in court Friday, December 18. 30-year-old Lucas Lycar is charged with aggravated assault. He was also released from custody and is scheduled to be in court on January 8, 2021.

33-year-old Cory Amyotte and 26-year-old Jesse Davidson are both charged with aggravated assault, disguised with intent and failure to comply with a release order.

34-year-old Hunter Nolte is charged with aggravated assault and disguised with intent.
