LETHBRIDGE, AB. — The Executive Director of the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization (LSCO), Rob Miyashiro, has a word of warning for those receiving support service from the LSCO.

On December 16 or 17, a senior receiving those Support Services answered the door of her residence to a well-dressed Caucasian man, in his late 20’s to late 30’s.

This person told the senior he worked for LSCO and she allowed him into her home. He then proceeded to ask her questions about her health and personal well-being.

After a few minutes, the person left the residence and the senior was unharmed. He was described as being fairly tall, with dark brown hair and was wearing a dark suit.

Miyashiro cautions seniors that LSCO does Not employ anyone matching that description.

He says It is highly likely that person was checking out a vulnerable senior and intends to return.

Please – do NOT allow this person, or anyone you do not know, into your home. Call 911 when it is safe to do so.
