Lethbridge Police seize drugs and cash resulting in arrests

LETHBRIDGE, AB– The Crime Suppression Team and Lethbridge Police units executed a search warrant Tuesday, January 5, 2021, resulting in the arrests of two people.

Police searched a hotel room in the 2200-block of 7 Avenue South and located illegal drugs valued at more than $3,000 including 14.1 grams of methamphetamine and 7.1 grams of fentanyl.

Police also seized more than $3,500 in cash from the room.

Arnold Joe Hofer, 49, was charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one count of possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000.

Kimberlie Rose Eagle Speaker, 32, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Both Hofer and Eagle Speaker were released with Hofer appearing in court on January 7th, and Eagle Speaker appearing in court on February 25, 2021.
