Strong wind knocks out power in Lethbridge Tuesday night, city sees maximum gust of 130 km/h
LETHBRIDGE, AB – For the second time in over a week, Albertans experienced noticeably strong wind gusts, and many Lethbridge residents lost power.
On Tuesday, Jan. 19, a strong low-pressure system moved through the province, which brought in the strong gusts.
Last night, power was out for over 2,000 customers in the north end of the city. The City of Lethbridge noted a tree hitting power lines as the cause.
