Waterton increasing daily use fees in February

WATERTON, AB – Starting February 1, it will cost a little more to visit Waterton Lakes National Park.

Adjusted daily admission fees will be:

• $10 for adults – up $2.10
• $8.40 for seniors – up $1.50
• $20 for families – up $6

“This service-based adjustment brings Waterton Lakes in line with the six other mountain national parks,” reads a social media post from Waterton Lakes National Park.

Free admission for those 17 and under will still be in effect. The $6.90 daily fee per member of commercial groups will not be impacted.

Fees collected at the entrances to national parks are used for visitor programs, services, facilities, and for engaging visitors in conservation efforts.
