Four COVID cases confirmed at Gilbert Paterson Middle School

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge School Division has confirmed four cases of COVID-19 at Gilbert Paterson Middle School.
At this time, the division says based off the advice of Alberta Education, the school will remain open.
Alberta Health Services (AHS) has proceeded with defining close contacts of the four cases within the school context, and those individuals will be contacted by the school by email.
The four cases means the school is under a COVID Alert, based on updated definitions announced by the province earlier this month. An Alert now means there are one to four cases at a school.
