One case of COVID confirmed at Catholic Central High School

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Holy Spirit Catholic School Division has confirmed a case of COVID-19 at one of its schools.

One infection has been reported at Catholic Central High School in Lethbridge.

The division could not say if the infected individual is a staff member or student. All close contacts have been notified and must quarantine while following the directives of Alberta Health Services.

“As always, we continue to work closely with Alberta Health Services to ensure the health and safety of our students and staff,” read a statement from Holy Spirit.

As of Wednesday, Feb. 3, the division has only one active case (Catholic Central), requiring the isolation of about 35 staff and students.
