Claresholm’s Logan Biever ties for sixth at latest PBR event

TEXARKANA, ARK. – Claresholm’s Logan Biever captured his third straight top-10 finish of the 2021 PBR (Professional Bull Riders) season this weekend.

The Albertan is the lone Canadian competing at PBR events in the United States. On Saturday, Feb. 13, he tied for sixth at the Touring Pro Division event in Texarkana, Arkansas.

He got off to a hot start in round one of the George Orr Classic presents The Four States PBR Shootout, earning 87 points when he covered Little G (Her Lightning/Gray Essary), good to split fourth in the round.

In the championship round, Biever was bucked off by Nose Job (Her Lightning/Gray Essary) in a quick 2.85 seconds.

His 1-for-2 showing earned him 1.5 world points. Biever is now ranked 54^th in the world standings. He trails the top 30 by 9.17 points as he seeks a berth to the elite Unleash The Beast.

Canby, Oregon’s Chase Dougherty took home the victory at the event, collecting 15 world points in the process.

He tied for second in the opening round, riding Last Chance (Sho-Me Rodeo) for 88 points, before he covered Pendleton (Hurst Pro Rodeo) for an event-best 90 points in the championship round.
