Webinar set for agricultural exports to International Markets

EDMONTON, AB. — Alberta Agriculture is setting up an introductory webinar on March 3, 2021, to cover export programs, services and opportunities available to Alberta agribusinesses.

Titled, “Exporting Agriculture and Agri-Food Products to International Markets” the webinar will cover programs and services offered by Alberta Agriculture’s export development team. it will also include high-level agribusiness opportunities in the U.S., Mexico, and Japan for Alberta exporters.

Evan Buie, international initiatives officer with Alberta Agriculture and Forestry, notes Alberta agriculture and agri-food companies absolutely need to be tapping into the supports available to them .

“This webinar will highlight how Alberta Agriculture and Forestry’s export development team can help you get your company to that next level – international success.”

Topics to be covered in the webinar include tips and tricks to doing business within the export markets, common mistakes and the frequently asked questions of new exporters. The webinar will focus on Alberta agriculture and agri-food companies new to exporting, new to the export development team, and those interested in learning more about the current export opportunities in U.S., Mexico, and Japan.

The webinar is set for 3:00 to 4:00-pm on March 3.
