Holy Spirit confirms one new case at St. Francis Junior High School

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Holy Spirit Catholic School Division has confirmed another COVID case at one of its schools.

One new infections has been reported at St. Francis Junior High School in Lethbridge. This now means there are three cases at the school.

The division noted that all close contacts have been informed and are required to quarantine while following the directives of Alberta Health Services (AHS).

Holy Spirit could not report whether the infected person was a staff member or student.

As of Thursday, March 11, there are 10 active cases within the division: three at St. Francis Junior High School, one at Catholic Central High School, two at Ecole St. Mary, and four at St. Teresa of Calcutta.

These cases have resulted in the isolation of roughly 295 staff and students.
