Man found in Lethbridge alley with head injury pronounced deceased

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Police are continuing to investigate a case from this past weekend but say the victim has succumbed to his injuries.

At approximately 1:00 pm on Sunday, March 14, LPS was called to an alley in the 100 block of 16 Street North.

The victim was found unconscious in the alley and had suffered a head injury.

He was first taken to Chinook Regional Hospital and later flown to Calgary in serious condition.

LPS has now confirmed the man has died.

The Lethbridge Police Criminal Investigation Section continues its investigation into the cause of the death.

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday in Calgary.

There is no word on potential suspects at this time.
