Holy Spirit reports new case of COVID at St. Mary School in Taber

TABER, AB – The Holy Spirit Catholic School Division has confirmed another COVID case at a Taber school.

One new infection has been reported at St. Mary School, meaning there are now two cases at the school.

All close contacts have been notified and are required to quarantine. The division could not report if the new case affected a staff member or student.

As of Monday night, the Holy Spirit Catholic Division has 13 active cases across six of its schools.

There are three cases at Catholic Central High School in Lethbridge, four at Father Leonard Van Tighem School in Lethbridge, one at St. Catherine School in Picture Butte, two at St. Paul School in Lethbridge, one at St. Teresa of Calcutta in Lethbridge, and the above-mentioned two cases at St. Mary School.

These infections have resulted in the isolation of roughly 310 staff and students.
