Crews to sweep and clean streets around Lethbridge schools this week

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Ahead of the official start of the Street Sweeping program next week, crews will be out starting today clearing areas around schools in Lethbridge.

The City of Lethbridge said as this week marks Easter break for most schools, and crews will clear streets around schools on the west, north and south sides of Lethbridge.

Officials said there will be less, or no vehicles parked in school areas, making it easier for crews to clean those streets as opposed to during regular learning hours.

Street sweeping signs will not be set out for this week’s efforts.

Crews will be out today through Friday, April 9 before the official campaign starts on Monday, April 12.
