City makes downtown parking free in Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE, AB– Beginning Tuesday, May 11, parking in downtown Lethbridge is free.

The parking kiosks will cease operation during this time due to the latest round of provincial health restrictions.

City officials say parking enforcement will be modified to only have a minimal presence for general parking complaints around accessible parking stalls and fire hydrants.

Messaging will be updated on the physical kiosks starting Tuesday.

The city says this change is to provide assistance to customers, staff, and all businesses in the downtown area.
