Two from Lethbridge arrested on numerous outstanding warrants

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Police apprehended a pair on a long list of warrants.

The Crime Suppression Team, with the assistance of canine units and patrols, arrested the two on the west side on Wednesday.

Andrew Whiteford, 31, was arrested on warrants for housebreaking and commit assault, as well as failing to comply with release conditions.

He has several active charges before the courts.

Whiteford was remanded in custody with a court date set for June 7.

Misty-Rae Visser, 36, was arrested on seven warrants including flight from police, possession of stolen property under $5,000, and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.

She also has a number of active charges before the courts.

Visser was released from custody and is set to appear in court on May 25.
