Manslaughter charge laid against Fort MacLeod man

FORT MACLEOD, AB – RCMP have laid a charge of manslaughter following a suspicious death from earlier this week.

Early in the morning on Monday, May 24, Linden Blair Grier, 33, of Brocket, was found injured in a home in Fort MacLeod and was pronounced deceased on scene.

On Thursday, May 27, Cullen Drake Tailfeathers, 25, of Fort Macleod was arrested by the Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit.

He faces one count each of manslaughter and break and enter to commit an offence.

Following a bail hearing, Tailfeathers was remanded into custody and is set to appear in Fort MacLeod Provincial Court on Wednesday, June 2.

RCMP will not be providing any additional details at this time.
