LETHBRIDGE, AB. — A Virtual Town Hall hosted by the Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) and the Lethbridge Police Commission has been set for Tuesday, June 15, 2021 with the entire community invited to take part.

The event will be hosted on the YouTube Live platform from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and can be accessed on the LPS website at https://bit.ly/2RBfZt8

The Virtual Town Hall will open with words from Rob vanSpronsen, Chair of the Lethbridge Police Commission. Chief of Police, Shahin Mehdizadeh, will provide information on crime trends in the community, the actions and initiatives being taken by police to reduce crime, and the role of the community in helping create a safer community.

Community safety is everyone’s business. The Town Hall session will provide opportunities for those impacted to engage with us in a collaborative way, with a question and answer session at its conclusion. In order to pose questions during the presentation, through the chat feature, the YouTube Live platform requires log-in prior to the start of the event. Instructions are available on the LPS website at the link provided above.
