88-year-old heat record broken in Lethbridge, 24 new in Alberta Monday

LETHBRIDGE, AB– It looks like Summer is here to stay with heat records being broken in many parts of Alberta.

Across Southern Alberta, more than 19 heat records were broken on Monday, June 14 with 24 being broken provincially.

In Lethbridge, a new record of 36.5 degrees was set, passing the old record set 88 years ago in 1933 of 35.0 degrees.
