LPS investigating after man allegedly made sexual advances towards teen

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Police are asking the public for any information they might have on an altercation on the west side.

A 16-year-old boy was outside a business in the 100 block of Mic Mac Boulevard West around 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 22.

He told police that he was waved over to a parked vehicle by an unknown man.

“When the teen approached, the man got out of the vehicle and asked him questions of a sexual nature and also made physical advances towards him,” reads a media release from LPS.

The boy asked the man to stop, and when he did, the youth left the area on foot.

The suspect is described as being in his mid-40s with tanned skin, short black hair, and was wearing white sunglasses.

His vehicle is described as a black or grey two-door car with a manual transmission and a custom shifter.
