Four Alberta communities hit 40 degrees Wednesday

JASPER, AB – The extreme heatwave continues across the province.

Environment Canada says daily high-temperature records were set in 49 Albertan communities on Wednesday, June 30, 2021.

In four places, it got over 40 degrees Celsius – Jasper, Fort McMurray, Mildred, and Red Earth Creek

Jasper was the hottest, reaching 41.2.
