LETHBRIDGE, AB – Through the Prairie Baseball Academy (PBA), the Lethbridge High School Baseball Academy has been created.

Unlike other local academies, this one will be open to all young baseball talents who want to develop their game.

The academy will be run by PBA and Lethbridge Bulls coach, Chance Wheatley, and says he’s excited to help the next generation.

“It’s really exciting and I’m really glad to be heading this up,
getting the first opportunity to be the head coach for this program and having grad assistants who will get the chance to get the start to their coaching careers.”

Wheatley will be joined by PBA Pitching Coach Rhett Feser who brings his professional expertise to the program.

The program will also receive support from the Prairie Baseball Academy who will look to grow and link both programs.

“The Academy will use both Lloyd Nolan yard and Spitz Stadium and will look to develop local talent and grow with
the athletes and community.”

They also say the PBA will help with the recruiting process as well as providing coaching assistance when needed.
