Province provides $1.6 million for ambulance garage addition at Claresholm Hospital
CLARESHOLM, AB – The ambulance garage at the Claresholm General Hospital is getting an upgrade.
Through the province’s Rural Health Facilities Revitalization Program, $1.6 million will go towards building an addition to the facility’s garage. This addition will accommodate current and future ambulance requirements at the site.
Construction work is expected to start in the coming months, with a more detailed timeline to be provided once work has started.
Alberta’s Health Minister Tyler Shandro stated that, “no matter where you live in the province, it’s important that your healthcare needs can be met as close to home as possible.”
