No charges after driver involved in two separate Lethbridge collisions

LETHBRIDGE, AB. — LPS confirm a driver involved in two collisions Sunday (July 11) afternoon, will not be charged.

Around 5:30-pm, police received a report after a car was rear-ended by a pickup truck while stopped at a red light at the intersection of 24 Avenue and Fairway Plaza Road South. The truck continued eastward on 24 Avenue and then collided with a semi-truck and travel trailer near the intersection at 43 Street South.

Since the 58-year-old male driver of the pick-up truck suffered a medical episode, no charges are pending at this time.

Two occupants of the semi-truck were also taken to hospital with undetermined injuries. Significant damage was caused to all the vehicles involved.
