Lethbridge’s Paul Kenway wins $1M grand prize at AGLC’s “Bigger Spin”
LETHBRIDGE, AB – A man from Lethbridge is now one million dollars richer following a unique spin-the-wheel event.
After months of delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a total of seven Albertans have won at The Big Spin and The Bigger Spin prize wheels.
The two-day event saw seven Albertans spin the wheel at the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) office in St. Albert on July 15 and 16, which ended with over $3.5-million in prizes being awarded, including the first-ever biggest spin prize.
“It was tremendous to see a number of Albertans have a chance to claim their The Big Spin and The Bigger Spin prizes this past week as AGLC gets back to regular gaming activities,” Steve Lautischer, Vice-President of Gaming and Cannabis told the Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC). “We thank all those who were patient in waiting for a chance to spin over the last number of months and are happy to see them claim $3,525,000 in prizes.”
