Lethbridge woman charged with impaired driving causing death following pedestrian collision

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The victim of a pedestrian collision has succumbed to their injuries.

Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) was called to the 1200 block of Mayor Magrath Drive South at approximately 10:12 am on Monday, August 2.

A southbound truck struck a 54-year-old woman who was trying to cross the street.

She was taken to Chinook Regional Hospital and passed away shortly afterward.
