Two men charged in West Lethbridge stabbing

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Two men have been charged after police responded to a stabbing incident Monday morning.

“Police responded to the report about 6 a.m. and upon arrival at neighbouring residences in the 200-block of Mt Crandell Crescent West located two individuals suffering from stab wounds,” the release reads.

The two men allegedly involved were taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Dexter Lewis Scout, 31, of Lethbridge, has been charged with:

  • housebreaking and commit aggravated assault
  • housebreak/commit assault with a weapon
  • mischief under $5,000
  • possession of a weapon

Ross Gary Scout, 35, of Lethbridge, has been charged with:

  • housebreaking and commit aggravated assault
  • housebreak/commit assault with a weapon
  • unauthorized possession of a prohibited/restricted weapon
  • possession of a controlled substance

Police says the investigation was turned over to the Violent Crimes Unit, which determined the incident involved a dispute among individuals known to each other.

Both men remain in custody awaiting a Judicial Interim Release hearing.
