Deadline to enter second Open for Summer Vaccine Lottery is midnight Tuesday

LETHBRIDGE, AB – As of this publication, only a few hours remain to enter to win one million dollars or one of the numerous other prizes.

Any Albertan who has received their two shots of a COVID-19 vaccine and registers by 11:59 pm on August 24, 2021, is eligible for the Open for Summer Vaccine Lottery’s second draw.

“Vaccines are safe, effective, and help to protect you and the people around you from COVID-19. For those who are still unprotected, shots are readily available. If you have been waiting to book your appointment, today is the perfect time,” says Premier Jason Kenney.

The grand prize is $1-million. There are also 40 travel prizes provided by Air Canada, WestJet, and the Rocky Mountaineer. Winners will be notified on August 31.
