Yates Theatre and City of Lethbridge arenas to follow province’s ‘restrictions exemption program’

LETHBRIDGE, AB – A group of City of Lethbridge facilities are set to implement the province’s ‘restrictions exemption program’.

Effective September 20, the program will be implemented at the Genevieve E. Yates Memorial Centre (including the Sterndale Bennett Theatre) as well as the following areas:

  • ATB Centre
  • Civic Ice Centre
  • Henderson Arena
  • Labor Club Ice Centre
  • Nicholas Sheran Arena
  • Logan Boulet Arena

Following the Government of Alberta’s public health guidelines, all visitors must continue to follow indoor mandatory masking requirements and physical distancing guidelines. Those aged 12 and over must be able to show one of the following at each visit:

  • Proof of vaccination.
    • Partial vaccination (one dose) accepted September 20 to October 25 if received 2 weeks before time of service.
    • Full vaccination (two doses) required after October 25.
  • Proof of a privately paid negative PCR or rapid test within 72 hours of service (tests from AHS or Alberta Precision Laboratories not allowed).
  • Documentation of a formal medical exemption as outlined by the Government of Alberta.

The ENMAX Centre has established its own policies, which were announced early Friday.
