Lethbridge Police need information in missing person case

LETHBRIDGE, AB. – LPS needs the public’s help in the search for a local missing 48-year old woman.

Helen Purkins is five-foot-two, 140 pounds, with a fair complexion, brown eyes and hair, pierced ears and two green dot tattoos on her left hand. She has an English accent and was last seen wearing dark pants and a black Adidas hoodie with white stripes down the sleeve and a small, white logo on the left chest.

Purkins was last known to have been in the area of Indian Battle Heights in West Lethbridge on July 29, 2021 at approximately 6 a.m. She also has ties to the Blood Reserve.

Police are asking residents in the Indian Battle Heights neighbourhood near MicMac Boulevard West and/or Mohawk Road West to check their yards and outbuildings as well as any available surveillance video from homes or dash cams in that area between July 29-30.
