Hurricanes trade Sadhra-Kang to Swift Current for conditional pick in 2023 draft

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Kayden Sadhra-Kang has been traded by the Lethbridge Hurricanes.

The 2003-born defenseman was selected 195th overall (ninth round) in the 2018 WHL Draft. He’s been moved to the Swift Current Broncos in exchange for a conditional sixth round pick in the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft.

The Richmond, B.C. athlete appeared in 11 career games with the ‘Canes, totaling two assists and four penalty minutes. This season, he suited up for the team in two games, dishing out one assist and earning a plus-3 rating.

With this transaction, the Hurricanes now have a 22-player roster, including two goalies, seven defenseman and 13 forwards.

Lethbridge is back in action Saturday, October 9 when they host the Red Deer Rebels at the ENMAX Centre.
