LPS investigation seizes weapons, drugs, and money

LETHBRIDGE, AB – After the Lethbridge Police Priority Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at a westside home Friday.

The search resulted in the seizure of weapons, about $85,000 worth of drugs, and almost $12,000 in cash.

After PCU members witnessed activity consistent with drug trafficking, a search warrant was obtained and executed at a home in the 600-block of Aberdeen Crescent West with the assistance of the Crime Suppression Team.

Seized from the home and associated vehicles were:

  • 661 grams of methamphetamine
  • 245.7 grams of fentanyl
  • 17.3 grams cocaine (crack)
  • 35 hydromorphone pills
  • 37 morphine pills
  • almost $12,000 cash (proceeds of crime)
  • weapons including a shotgun, loaded Glock magazine, and Glock imitation airsoft handgun.

Bradley Stephen Paskiuski, 36, of Glenwood, has been charged with 18 offences including five counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, seven weapons-related charges, three counts of failure to comply with release orders, and possession of the proceeds of crime (over $5,000).

Paskiuski was remanded in custody to appear in court on November 1, 2021.
