Fire Department investigating structure fire

LETHBRIDGE, AB. — Three fire stations sent crews to a structure fire in the 1200 block of 42 Avenue north on Sunday (Nov 7) morning.
Crews were met with visible smoke and flames coming from a structure behind a home where occupants were still inside.
Fire fighters were able to get the residents out of the home and quickly extinguish the fire.
Damage to the structure was moderate and firefighters were able to keep the fire away from the home. A damage estimate is not available yet as the blaze is under investigation.
