Three charged with impaired driving Saturday in Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE, AB – LPS was able to catch three drivers who were allegedly behind the wheel impaired during an enforcement blitz this past weekend.

On Saturday, November 13, the Traffic Response Unit brought in additional officers to address ongoing, problematic driving behaviours and vehicle equipment violations.

In addition to the impaired drivers, they also issued 52 tickets for various Traffic Act violations as well as two GDL suspensions, caught two suspended drivers, and towed 10 vehicles.

One driver was arrested on a warrant for a Criminal Code charge, the specifics of which were not stated.
