Over 7-million COVID vaccine doses administered in Alberta

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Alberta has reached a new milestone in the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines.

Premier Jason Kenney tweeted Tuesday afternoon, announcing that more than 7-million doses have been administered across the province.

89 per cent of Albertans aged 12 and up have received at least one dose while 84.5 per cent are fully immunized.

68,284 children between the ages of five and 11 have received their first shot.

438,580 “boosters” have been administered.

“Thank you all for making the choice to protect yourself and others!,” Kenney said in his Tweet.
