Lethbridge County Division 5 by-election general voting day on Monday

LETHBRIDGE COUNTY, AB – Residents in Lethbridge County’s Division 5 can head to the polls on Monday, December 13.

The Division 5 by-election is Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Monarch Community Hall, located at 330 Kipp Avenue in Monarch.

There were no candidates in Division 5 for October’s municipal election, so the province directed the county to hold a by-election to fill the vacant seat. Division 5 is in the northwest portion of Lethbridge County, and includes Monarch and the area surrounding the Town of Nobleford and Village of Barons.

Only residents of Division 5 who are 18-year-old or older and a Canadian citizen are eligible to vote. COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place at the polling station; however, proof of vaccination is not required to vote.
