Man charged by Cochrane RCMP in relation to fatal collision

COCHRANE, AB – Cochrane RCMP responded to a serious motor vehicle collision on Highway 1 near Morley Alberta on August 11, 2021.

As a result of the collision, a 75 and 78-year-old couple from Invermere were killed and two others were injured.

After an investigation, police have charged Christopher Raymond Boucha, 50, of New Westminster, B.C., with:

• Criminal Negligence Causing Death (X2)
• Criminal Negligence Causing Bodily Harm (X2)
• Dangerous Driving Causing Death (X2)
• Dangerous Driving Causing Bodily Harm (X2)
