Two men charged in King of Trade break in

LETHBRIDGE, AB – A business in downtown Lethbridge did not have the most pleasant Christmas. However, LPS made quick work of finding two of the culprits.

Around 4:10-am on Christmas Day, three subjects smashed the front door window at King of Trade along the 300 block of 5 Street South. Once inside the culprits stole headphones and jewelry. Two subjects were arrested later in the day and the third subject has not yet been located.

James Lee Morning Bird, age 20, is charged with shop-breaking and commit theft. He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 9.

Dacota Bruce Ray Oka, age 30, is charged with shop-breaking and commit theft. He was remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 29.

King of Trade said it plans to continue “with business as usual”, and is open until 6:00 p.m. on Boxing Day, December 26.
