“Multiple collisions” reported by Pincher Creek RCMP on Highway 3

PINCHER CREEK, AB – RCMP in Pincher Creek are reporting multiple collisions this morning.

On December 30, the detachment issued a notice advising of a response to multiple collisions on Highway 3 between Highway 6 and Highway 2. As a result, Highway 3 is being re-routed while emergency crews respond.

Traffic in both directions is affected.

Mounties are cautioning the public on poor driving conditions in the area.

On Wednesday, December 29, Picture Butte and other supporting responders attended the scene of a train derailment near the village of Barons.

No injuries were reported in that incident.
