
Scheidegger in playoff match-ups at curling provincials
GRANDE PRAIRIE, AB. — The playoff teams have been decided at the Best of Alberta women’s and men’s curling provincials being played at the Bonnetts Energy Centre.
Kelsey Rocque will play Casey Scheidegger at 2:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon in the women’s semi-final. This will be a rematch from the final round-robin draw Friday afternoon where Rocque scored three coming home to beat Scheidegger 7-6. Grande Prairie’s Kristi Moore and Cary-Anne McTaggart are on Team Scheidegger.
The winner will play Laura Walker in the final Sunday morning at 11 a.m. Walker won her final round-robin game 8-4 over Selena Sturmay.
Walker, Rocque and Scheidegger all finished the round-robin with 6-1 records.
