Lethbridge and Coaldale WHL players featured in NHL’s Midterm Rankings

LETHBRIDGE, AB – 53 players in the Western Hockey League (WHL) are included in the NHL’s Central Scouting Midterm Rankings, including a skater from Lethbridge.

Centre Rylen Roersma plays for the Brandon Wheat Kings and is from Lethbridge. He was ranked number 99 on the list ahead of the 2022 NHL Draft.

Winnipeg ICE forward Matthew Savoie was the highest ranked WHL player, placing third, followed by his teammate Conor Geekie at fourth.

Prince George Cougars goaltender Tyler Brennan is the top-ranked North American netminder, followed by Braden Holt of the Everett Silvertips at sixth in the goalie rankings.

Ty Young, from Coaldale and who suits up for Prince George, ranked 21st among North American goalies.

Overall, 20 of 22 WHL clubs are represented in the Midterm Rankings.
