Fort Macleod residents warned of fraudulent door-to-door solicitors

FORT MACLEOD, AB – People living in Fort Macleod are being advised to do their due diligence with anyone coming to their doors.

In a statement from the Town of Fort Macleod’s Interim CAO Liisa Gillingham, she says it has come to their attention that people are going door-to-door claiming to be representatives of the “Town.”

“When residents disagree with their opinions, these individuals are becoming combative and rude.”

Gillingham assures that these people are not affiliated with town hall in any way and that rude behaviour and comments are unnecessary and should not be tolerated.
