Police reported that a southbound truck driven by Good Striker, 34-years-old at the time, collided with a 54-year-old woman who was walking across the street.

The victim was transported to Chinook Regional Hospital and later died of her injuries.

Dean elected for Good Striker to face a judge and jury trial in Court of Queen’s Bench.

The crown and defense will now work to set dates for a preliminary conference.

She is next set to appear in court in February.
