Fort MacLeod RCMP investigate possible arson at auction

FORT MACLEOD, AB – Fort MacLeod RCMP are investigating a suspicious fire at the Fort Macleod Auction.

On Saturday, February 5, 2022, at approximately 5:00 am, RCMP and Emergency Services responded to the fire which is being investigated as arson.

The fire destroyed most of the north-end offices within the building.

RCMP says no people or animals were injured as a result of this fire.

The investigation is currently ongoing and the Fort Macleod RCMP and Fire Inspector have deemed it suspicious.
