Three arrested in Lethbridge on drug trafficking charges

LETHBRIDGE, AB – LPS apprehended three people this week on a variety of charges.

Following an investigation into activities consistent with drug trafficking, officers executed search warrants on Tuesday, February 8 at a home on the 500 block of 19 Street North and a commercial business bay on the 1700 block of 31 Street North.

Police seized drugs with a combined street value of over $3,000 including 34 grams of meth and 2.2 grams of psilocybin (mushrooms).

They also confiscated three firearms and ammunition, $1,900 in cash as proceeds of crime, and stolen property including a motorcycle and another vehicle.

Christina Lynn Guest, 35, of Lethbridge, is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of stolen property, possession of stolen property obtained by crime, careless use/storage of a firearm, and two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm. She was released after a Judicial Interim Release hearing with a scheduled court appearance of March 10, 2022.

Brandon Douglas Rourke, 34, of Lethbridge, is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of stolen property, possession of stolen property obtained by crime, careless use/storage of a firearm, and two counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm. He was released after a Judicial Interim Release hearing with a scheduled court appearance of Feb. 25, 2022.

Travis Robert Taylor, 30, of Lethbridge, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of stolen property, possession of stolen property obtained by crime, careless use/storage of firearm, unauthorized possession of firearm, two counts of breach of undertaking. He was released after a Judicial Interim Release hearing with a scheduled court appearance of March 30, 2022.
