RCMP investigating fatal collision near Picture Butte

PICTURE BUTTE, AB – RCMP are on scene of a serious motor vehicle collision.

It occurred on Highway 25 between Township Roads 102 and 104 near Picture Butte Friday afternoon.

“Unfortunately, at least one person is confirmed deceased,” reads a media release from Coaldale RCMP.

It is anticipated that the road will remain closed in both directions for several hours while RCMP continues its investigation.

The next of kin have yet to be notified as of this publication so further details are not being released by RCMP.
