LETHBRIDGE, AB – To say that Justin Hall had a good Saturday night is an understatement.

The Lethbridge Hurricanes welcomed the Medicine Hat Tigers to the ENMAX Centre and came out with a dominant 9-2 victory.

Hall scored five goals for the home team with three of them coming from power plays.

Tyson Laventure, Chase Pauls, Ty Nash, and Logan Wormald also hit the net for Lethbridge.

The Tigers’ two points came in the second period with shots from Thomas Mrsic and Bogdans Hodass.

The Canes outshot the Tigers 42-16.

It is likely fair to say that Saturday’s game made up for Lethbridge’s 8-1 loss to the Calgary Hitmen the night before.

Steel Quiring hit the goal twice for the visiting Hitmen and the other six goals were all made by different players.

Ty Nash got Lethbridge’s lone goal near the start of the second period thanks to assists from Logan Wormald and Liekit Reichle.

Calgary outshot the Canes 35-25 in Friday’s contest.

After Saturday’s successful outing, the Lethbridge Hurricanes gear up for a busy next couple of weeks, playing seven games on the road in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

This will kick off with a clash against the Winnipeg ICE on Wednesday, March 2.
