BILD Lethbridge presents Awards of Excellence in Housing

LETHBRIDGE, AB — The Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) presented 31 awards during its 23rd Awards of Excellence in Housing event Friday, March 4, 2022.

The awards celebrate the achievements of BILD Lethbridge Region members that advance the residential construction industry.

Awards went to the highest scoring developers, renovators, home builders, trades, and suppliers.

Ramton Homes won Custom Builder of the Year, while Avonlea Homes won Best Development of the Year for Blackwolf in North Lethbridge.

Bridget Mearns, Executive Officer of BILD Lethbridge said, “It was great to celebrate these noteworthy achievements during a year of uncertainty. Our members continue to strive for excellence, creating a quality showcase for judges.” She added, “The commitment BILD Lethbridge members have in designing, building, and supplying the best products for Lethbridge citizens is truly admirable, making the competition fierce amongst entrants.”

BILD Lethbridge presented Member of the Year Awards to Brad Scmidtke, of Stantec and Tamara L’Hoost from Vista Media at the Gala after the awards.

Member of the Year awards are given to active members who have demonstrated continuous support and involvement in association initiatives.

Chris Constant from Lethbridge Basements was inducted into the BILD Lethbridge Hall of Fame.
