Police seize drugs and cash in North Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE, AB — A Lethbridge woman has been charged after police executed a search warrant at a home in North Lethbridge Friday following a drug trafficking investigation.

Lethbridge Police executed the search warrant at 4:00 p.m. on March 4, 2022 at a home in the 100 block of 16 Street North. Officers also searched an associated vehicle.

During the search, Lethbridge Police seized drugs with a street value of more than $11,100. It included 94.2 grams of cocaine, 4 grams of methamphetamine, 4.7 grams of Psilocybin, and 81 OxyContin pills.

Police also seized $3,100 in cash and 1,500 illegal cigarettes, which police say were ‘black stock tobacco’, which can only be sold to consumers by Indian Tax Exemption retailers and duty free shops.

The search involved Lethbridge Police Service, along with the assistance of the Safer Communities and Neighbourhoods (SCAN) unit of the Alberta Sheriffs, the Crime Suppression Team, the Priority Crimes Unit, the Tactical Response Unit and the K9 team.

58-year-old Susan Graf of Lethbridge is charged with four counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, and possession of the proceeds of crime. Graf was released from custody, with a scheduled court appearance May 26, 2022.
