32 people test positive in South Zone Friday
LETHBRIDGE, AB – Today marks two years since the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the spread of the COVID-19 virus a global pandemic. Since then, more than 450-million cases and 6-million deaths have been reported worldwide.
In Lethbridge, the Alberta government has reported a total of 11, 707 cases and 88 COVID-related deaths since the pandemic began.
The province released its latest report on COVID-19 for Friday, March 11, 2022, covering statistics from the past 24 hours.
A total of 473 new cases were confirmed across the province, bringing the total to 530,761. Of those, 6,545 cases are active, while 520,213 people have recovered.
